Joleon Lescott told Optus Sport on Premier League Productions that Mason Holgate and Michael Keane left him ‘lost for words’ during Everton’s 2-2 draw with Jose Mourinho’s side on Friday.
Nevermind in the Premier League, there aren’t many players in Europe who are in better form than Harry Kane, right now – and Everton gifted him with two goals.
Even though both of Kane’s finishes were of serious top quality, it was two aerial mistakes from Everton’s defensive duo, added with a lack of communication, that saw them well and truly punished.
And Lescott shared that making one mistake is understandable, but making two leaves him speechless.
“Again, clinical finish (from Kane’s second goal),” said Lescott. “But the defending here (Holgate and Keane), I am lost for words, to be honest.
“One mistake of that calibre in the game, but two! They will be disappointed with the way they have conceded the goals
“It was there for the taking for Everton.”

Kane was primed and ready to pounce in that penalty area like a predator in the wild.
The first touch for his opening goal, and then the left-footed finish, was a player full of confidence and at the top of his game.
And then for his second, the England captain showcased his composure once more, but this time he decided to show off a little by producing a pin-point first-time finish, which left his national colleague, Jordon Pickford, rooted to the spot.
