Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter in fury after watching some 24-second footage of Mohamed Salah playing for Egypt yesterday.
The video in question shows Liverpool’s No.11 being swarmed by pitch invaders, who seem desperate to get a photo with the world-class forward.
Salah shows incredible patience as a group of youngsters clamour all over him, as he’s clearly trying to keep his distance and remain free from COVID-19.
None of the pitch invaders are wearing masks either, which is quite ridiculous in the current climate.
One idiot even tries to plant a kiss on Salah’s cheek, which is an absolutely stupid thing to do during a global pandemic.
Salah is arguably a £200 million footballer, so why was Liverpool and Egypt’s talisman left so vulnerable to being mobbed?

There isn’t a steward or security guard in sight – what were they doing while the 28-year-old was being bombarded?
It really is an annoying piece of footage to watch, so you can understand why the Liverpool fans are fuming about it.

If Salah ends up testing positive for COVID-19, and misses Liverpool’s Champions League clashes with Real Madrid, the Reds will surely have some questions for the Egyptian FA.
Let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been saying about the 24-second footage…
