Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has told TalkSPORT that Craven Cottage is the perfect place for teenager Ryan Sessegnon amid reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

The Telegraph claimed earlier this week that the 17-year-old flyer is interesting both Spurs and United with Mauricio Pochettino’s north Londoners willing to spend around £35million on the versatile starlet.

However, Fulham value Sessegnon at around £50million as he continues to blow Championship opponents with ease this season. Being moved into left midfield from his original position of left-back, Sessegnon has come alive.

It has attracted both Spurs and Manchester United, but 49-year-old boss Jokanovic stated that Fulham is the best place for Sessegnon’s development before heaping praise on his teenage star by stating “it’s like he comes from a factory.”

“Many people are talking about him, he is growing up as a player and as a person too,” Jokanovic said. “I believe at this moment he can grow playing here, rather than with a top five Premier League team.

“I think we can give him what he needs and I’m proud and I’m happy that he is here with us.I enjoy working with him a lot. He has a great capacity to learn, he trains well and his physicality is fantastic, it’s like he comes from a factory.

“He’s fighting with strong adult players and at his age it is not easy but he’s doing a fantastic job.”

Sessegnon has played in every single Championship fixture for Fulham this season, clocking up an impressive 13 goals and four assists in 34 second-tier matches.

He has two and a half years remaining on his current Fulham contract an it remains to be seen if the west London side can keep Sessegnon if they fail to gain promotion from the second tier this season.

Sessegnon will be in action once again this Saturday as Fulham travel to Pride Park to face Derby County in what will be a difficult test as they currently sit in fifth place.
