Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are among the clubs linked with Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham in the summer transfer window.

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has told The London Evening Standard that reported Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United target Ryan Sessegnon will stay at the club.

Jokanovic has stated that he knows that Sessegnon wants to stay at Fulham following the Cottagers’ promotion to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs this season.

The former Watford boss, though, has admitted that he cannot completely guarantee that the 18-year-old winger will be at Craven Cottage next season.

According to The London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur are at the front of a queue of clubs interested in the England Under-21 international, who can also operate as a left-back.

The report has also credited Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain with interest in the teenager.

“What I know about him is he’s really happy where he is now,” Jokanovic told The London Evening Standard about Sessegnon.

“I’m satisfied and happy with him. I cannot give you a complete guarantee. What I prefer to say is I know he wants to stay with us.”

Hope for Tottenham Hotspur?

With Fulham getting promoted to the Premier League, it would be hard for Tottenham or Manchester United to secure the services of Sessegnon this summer.

After all, the teenager could decide to stay at Fulham for one more season and enjoy the Premier League.

However, Jokanovic’s comments suggest that there is still a chance that Spurs could sign him.

A big offer to Fulham could be tempted to the Cottagers, and the 18-year-old could be lured to Spurs by the prospect of playing in the first team regularly.
