Celtic winger Michael Johnston is reportedly wanted by St Mirren.

Johnstone, who had two different spells at Rangers and is a legend at Ibrox, has explained why a loan move from Celtic to St. Mirren will help young winger Johnston.
According to The Scottish Sun, the Buddies are interested in securing the services of the 19-year-old winger on a season-long loan deal.
The report has also claimed that a number of other clubs are also eyeing the Scotland Under-21 international.
Rangers legend Johnstone told The Scottish Sun about the prospect of Johnston moving to St. Mirren on loan: “I think it’s a good idea.
“When you look at the strength of Celtic, the young lad might get a game in a Scottish Cup tie or come on a couple of times from the bench.
“But I think if you put him out to St Mirren, who are a very, very good side, he’ll certainly get a lot more games and that will help him in the big league as well.
“He’s a good young player. He’s shown for the last couple of seasons that he scores goals.”

Good move for Michael Johnston?
Johnston is only 19 years of age, and it is not going to be easy for the winger to play for the Celtic first team next season.
It would make sense for the Scottish youngster to move to St. Mirren if he gets the chance and play in a competitive environment.
The Buddies will play in the Scottish Premiership next season, and that will allow Johnston to show Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers how good he is.
St. Mirren boss Alan Stubbs is a very good manager, and working with the former Hibernian boss can only help Johnston.
Meanwhile, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has suggested that he will hold talks with Scott Allan and Ryan Christie regarding their futures.
Rodgers told The Scottish Sun: “Ryan and Scott both have big talents. But can I give them the game time they want? That’s the only question mark and that’s a conversation we’ll have.”
