Johnny Giles has said on Off The Ball that he is not a big fan of Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
The former Manchester United and Leeds United midfielder has said that City star Gundogan is very predictable.
Although Giles has said that the 30-year-old Germany international deserves to be in the team, he has made it clear that he does not rate the former Borussia Dortmund star highly.
Giles said on Off The Ball: “I am not a big fan of Gundogan. Obviously, he deserves to be in the team, but I am talking as a midfield player. He is very predictable, in my opinion, of getting it and passing it sideways.”
Gundogan does not always get the headlines, but the Germany international has been superb this season.
The 30-year-old has scored some important goals and has been a big player for the Citizens in the middle of the park.

The Bundesliga title winner with Borussia Dortmund has scored 12 goals and provided one assist in the Premier League and has scored three times and given one assist in the Champions League for City this season.
Gundogan is a complete midfielder who can do the defensive work and move the ball forward.
The Germany international complements the other midfielders in the team, and he would not have been playing regularly for City if manager Pep Guardiola did not rate him highly.
