John Terry has wished Declan Rice a swift recovery, after the West Ham United man was ruled out with injury.
The Telegraph suggested yesterday that Rice’s season was now in doubt as the West Ham man has picked up a knee injury.
Rice had to sit out of West Ham’s 3-2 win against Wolves last night.
Before the game he vowed to make it back swiftly, as he looks to return before the end of the campaign.
And John Terry was among the well-wishers on Instagram. He wrote: “Speedy recovery mate.”
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson also posted ‘recover well mate’, while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings and Jimmy Bullard offered their best wishes.
The fact that so many England players have offered their support to Rice shows just how highly the West Ham man is regarded at international level now.

Gareth Southgate will surely be hoping that Rice makes it off the treatment table, as he plays such an important role for his country.
West Ham will also be hoping that Rice makes swift progress on his comeback from injury.
The Hammers are battling for a top four spot and their chances of breaking into the Champions League places would be greatly increased if Rice was in their side.
