It turns out that Chelsea legend John Terry is a secret fan of Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The ex-Blues captain is on holiday at present and has been doing some reading, admitting he is excited to study Guillem Balague’s book on Tottenham boss Pochettino.
Terry hailed Pochettino and said that when the pair have crossed paths, the Argentine has been ‘brilliant’.
Terry is weighing up his next challenge after a spell wth Aston Villa in the Championship.
Eventually he is likely to pursue a coaching career, with SkySports reporting last year he has already been taking his qualifying badges.
The Mail reported earlier in 2018 that Terry wants a return to Chelsea as a coach in the future.
What was not expected was that he would be taking a bit of inspiration from the Tottenham manager along the way.
