Chelsea legend John Terry has described Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as “world class” on Twitter after he scored twice against Everton to surpass Arsenal legend Thierry Henry’s goal-record in the Premier League.

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham got the better of Everton with ease at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Kane scored twice for Spurs.

The England international striker scored his first goal on 37 minutes and his second in the 55th minute.

Both were brilliant goals from Kane.

Harry Kane breaks Thierry Henry’s record

The 28-year-old striker now has 176 goals in the Premier League.

Arsenal legend Henry scored 175 goals.

Terry is a Chelsea legend, but the former England international central defender has set aside the London rivalry to praise Kane, describing him as world class.

Terry wrote on Twitter: “@HKane WORLD CLASS ⚽️👏🏻”

World class

In our view, Kane is world class and one of the best strikers the Premier League has even seen.

The second goal from the striker against Everton was pure class.

Given that Kane is still only 28, there is a very good chance that by the time he finishes his career, he will become the top scorer in Premier League history.

That would be some feat.
