John Terry stated on his Instagram story that ‘Manchester City are simply too good’ after they reached the Champions League final on Tuesday night.
The Aston Villa coach, who will be hoping his beloved Chelsea join their English counterparts in the final tonight, was clearly impressed by what Pep Guardiola’s side produced at the Etihad.
Even though PSG were without Kylian Mbappe, who started and remained on the bench throughout because of an injury, it was a breeze for those in blue.
This is the first time Man City have reached Europe’s biggest stage and it’s something that those at the Etihad have been craving for.
But one more hurdle remains for Man City, in Istanbul, as one of Chelsea and Real Madrid will want to spoil the party.
The last English team to win the European Cup was Liverpool and they were involved in an all-English final.
So, could the same happen again because Chelsea do hold a slight advantage over Madrid, in the sense, they have an away goal?
But either way, whichever team is locking horns with Man City in Turkey, it’s Guardiola’s men who will be favourites because they have been utterly dominant this season.
