John Terry has lauded Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, on Instagram after England beat Denmark 2-1 to reach the finals of Euro 2020.

The Three Lions needed extra time to see off the technically efficient Dane’s, with Tottenham’s hitman scoring the winning goal.

Kane initially saw his spot-kick saved by Kasper Schmeichel, but the Spurs man was quick enough to follow it up and score a quite historic goal.

This is the first time England have reached the final of a major tournament since 1966.

And after all those years of hurt, football may just finally be coming home.

After the game, Terry sent this brilliant message to Kane which Spurs fans will love, as he urged the team to ‘rest up’ and do the business again on Sunday.

England conceded for the first time during the tournament last night – to a brilliant Mikkel Damsgaard free-kick.

But the team, led by Kane up front, showed the mental toughness to fight on and create history for their country.

And whilst the Dane’s were a pretty tough opposition, the aggressive and passionate Italian’s will be something else.

They have probably been the best team in the tournament and England will have to produce the performance of all performances if they are to see past them.
