John Terry has stated that Paul McGrath is his favourite Aston Villa player ever.
Terry was doing a question and answer session on Instagram, when he was asked who his favourite Villa player is.
And the former Chelsea man has suggested that McGrath takes the honour of being his top Villan of all time.
Terry is currently assistant at Villa, with the former England international taking his first steps into management as part of Dean Smith’s backroom team.
McGrath played 323 games for Villa from 1989 to 1997, where he became known as one of the best centre-backs in England.
McGrath is a legend at Villa Park, and Terry’s adulation only serves to further increase his reputation.
Terry will be in the dugout at Villa later this evening, when the claret and blues take on Sheffield United in Championship action.
