Villa suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Liverpool at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Trezeguet put the Villans in the lead in the 21st minute, but late goals from Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane saw the Merseyside outfit pick up all three points from the encounter.
Villa assistant manager Terry has taken to Instagram to praise the players for their performance against Liverpool, and he has also praised the Villa Park faithful for their support to the team.
Villa are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 11 points from as many matches.
Dean Smith’s side are three points above the relegation zone, but there have been very encouraging signs.
Villa are playing good football, and if they are able to score more goals, then they could be challenging to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League table this season.
