Joe Hart joined West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

John Terry of Aston Villa looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Preston North End and Aston Villa at Deepdale on November 1, 2017 in Preston, England.

Aston Villa defender John Terry made an interesting and very encouraging observation about West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart on the Monday Night Football show on Sky Sports Main Event on Monday evening (07:26pm, December 18, 2017).

Terry played with Hart – currently on loan at West Ham from Manchester City – for the England national football team, and outlined a similarity between him and two of the best custodians in the Premier League – Arsenal’s Petr Cech and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois.

While discussing how good and important goalkeeper Ederson Moraes has been at Manchester City this season, Terry said on the Monday Night Football show on Sky Sports Main Event on Monday evening (07:26pm, December 18, 2017): “It’s the communication as well during the game, during training.

“They don’t stop. Joe Hart’s the same. Courtois, Petr Cech, Joe Hart, they don’t stop talking, and they can coach people in front of them.”

Hart has failed to impress City manager Pep Guardiola and spent the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Torino in Italy.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper joined the Hammers on a season-long loan deal from City in the summer transfer window.

The performances of the England international so far this season, though, have not been great.

Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand has suggested that West Ham manager David Moyes is fortunate to have all of his strikers fit.

The former West Ham central defender made the observation following the Hammers’ 3-0 victory over fellow strugglers Stoke City away from home at the bet365 Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Ferdinand said on the Premier League Tonight show on BT Sport 1 last Saturday evening (8:44pm, December 16, 2017): “What he has been fortunate to walk into is a team, a squad, full of strikers who are fit at the moment.”
