Does John Terry fancy a stint with Celtic?

John Terry has fuelled suggestions that he may be interested in joining Celtic by ‘liking’ an Instagram post which called on the Hoops to sign him.
The 37-year-old is a free agent at the moment after his season-long spell at Aston Villa came to an end earlier this summer.
Celtic badly need a couple of centre-backs before Friday’s deadline, amid uncertainty over Dedryck Boyata’s future.
But if social media activity is anything to go by, Terry, who was on £70,000 per week at Villa Park [Birmingham Mail], might be interested in joining Brendan Rodgers’s side.
The Chelsea legend, who won five Premier Leagues, five FA Cups and a Champions League title during his illustrious spell in West London, would cost Celtic some £3 million in salary alone if he was to join for the 2018-19 campaign, but it’d certainly be worth it.
Even at 37, he came agonisingly close to helping Aston Villa to Premier League promotion last season, which ought to illustrate that he can still hack it.
It probably isn’t going to happen, but it wouldn’t a bad move at all by Celtic boss Rodgers.
