John Terry has mocked Tottenham on Twitter by claiming that ‘some things never change’ after they were beaten by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

For the fourth time this season, Chelsea were victorious against their London rivals, this time it was a 2-0 win, with goals from Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva.

After the game, Terry posted this message on Twitter and he clearly enjoyed his afternoon in west London.

For Chelsea, they have had a number of indifferent performances and results of late, but yesterday’s game would have changed the mood in the camp.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, there was no doubt that the home side were the better team.

Although Harry Kane’s ruled out goal, which would have opened the scoring, was a controversial call by VAR.

Either way, from Antonio Conte’s perspective, it just further signifies the job he has at hand, but he has already pointed that out.

One area Tottenham will be hoping for a boost is in the January transfer market.

But will Conte get the backing and will the players he wants arrive during the final week of this winter transfer window?

If not, then it will be interesting to see what his reaction will be like because Daniel Levy has previously proven that he isn’t someone who throws money at the market in a strong fashion.
