John Terry has implied on Instagram that Jack Grealish has been training ahead of Aston Villa’s clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

The Villa coach posted an image of himself in training on his Instagram page, with a Villa fan asking him in the comments section, ‘Any sign of Jack Grealish behind you there John?’

And whilst the former centre-back didn’t issue a worded response, he did send two eyes and a football emoji, as you can see below.

Added with that, the Mirror have also reported that Grealish returned to training this week and is in line to play against Tottenham at the weekend.

Another telling sign could be Gareth Southgate’s squad announcement on Thursday afternoon.

If Grealish is named in the party then he should surely be fine to face off against Spurs, that’s if Dean Smith hasn’t dropped any news on him before then.

But Jose Mourinho must be thinking where his luck has gone because ‘everybody is fit to play against us’, he bemoaned earlier on this month when Wilfried Zaha returned for Palace’s clash against Spurs.

Villa have picked up only one win during the five games Grealish have missed and they have also netted on only three occasions.

It’s pretty clear that Grealish is as valuable to Villa as Harry Kane is to Tottenham Hotspur.

And two of England’s finest are set to lock horns in a few days time before hopefully linking up once again for their national side.

Nonetheless, it seems as though Mourinho’s words about players always being fit against them might just be coming true once more.
