Aston Villa defender John Terry claims he is loving life with Steve Bruce’s side, after joining from Chelsea.
John Terry says that he has had a great time with Aston Villa, during his first week in pre-season training with his new club.
Villa have been getting ready for the new season out in Portugal, with Terry acclimatising to life away from Chelsea for the first time.
And the veteran defender says that he is relishing his time at Villa so far.
He took to social media website Twitter to express his delight at the way the move to Villa was working out.
Villa fended off a great deal of competition to snap up Terry this summer, and the transfer has raised eye brows across the Championship.
Terry is expected to play a key role for Steve Bruce’s side, and could yet become the captain of the claret and blues.
Terry is likely to slot straight into Villa’s defence, with Bruce’s side looking for a big improvement next term.

Villa could only manage to finish in mid-table last season, but they go into next campaign as one of the favourites for promotion.
Villa start their season with a match against Hull City at the start of August.
