John Terry is going to have mixed emotions on Sunday as Aston Villa take on Chelsea in the final game of the Premier League season.

The Chelsea legend posted on Instagram ‘last session of the season’ as he prepares Villa to cause an upset today.

For Villa, they don’t have anything to play for in terms of the Premier League table, but 10,000 fans are returning to B6, so they are going to want the players to put on a show.

And with Jack Grealish back in the starting XI, supporters in the stands and some confidence in Villa’s boots after that win against Spurs, then there is every chance the Midlands outfit can secure all three points.

But it’s Chelsea who are the ones desperate for the win and wanting momentum ahead of their Champions League final.

A win against Villa guarantees that they finish in the top four, but any slip-ups, and results going against them, then they may well drop into those Europa League places.

And if that’s the case then they will walk into next week’s Champions League final with no momentum and that extra pressure on their shoulders.

It’s fair to say that Terry will remain in his Villa kit for this encounter, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he dons his full Chelsea kit and runs all the way to Porto if his former side claims a second European crown at the expense of Manchester City.
