Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox club Rangers and Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic have been linked with John Souttar.
Rangers and Celtic interest in John Souttar
The Scottish Daily Mail (17 November, page 83) reported that Rangers want to bring Souttar from Hearts in the January transfer window.
A transfer fee of £500,000 is reportedly needed for Rangers to secure the services of the 25-year-old central defender.
The Scottish Sun reported last month that Celtic are keen on the Scotland international centre-back as well.
Tam McManus’s verdict
And former Hibernian forward Tam McManus believes that Souttar is good enough to play for Celtic or Rangers.
The PLZ Soccer pundit made the comments on Twitter while watching the defender in action for Hearts against Celtic on Thursday evening.
Celtic won the Scottish Premiership game at Celtic Park 1-0.

Rangers or Celtic transfer
Souttar is out of contract at Hearts at the end of the season.
Now, Hearts are a big club, but Rangers and Celtic are much bigger.
In our opinion, a move to Ibrox or Celtic Park would be very tempting for the 25-year-old.
