Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes scored against Aston Villa and Millwall.

Rhodes has struggled to make a massive impact at Wednesday since his initial loan move from Middlesbrough in February 2017.
The striker scored just three goals and provided only one assist in 20 Championship appearances for the Owls last season.
Wednesday made the Scotland international’s loan move permanent in the summer of 2017.

The former Blackburn Rovers star has scored two goals and provided one assist in 13 Championship matches for the Owls so far this campaign.
The performances of Rhodes have been disappointing, but the 27-year-old has scored in each of the last two matches he has started.
The Scotsman scored for Carlos Carvalhal’s side in the 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Championship and in the 2-1 home win against Millwall.

Former Wednesday midfielder Sheridan believes that Rhodes, who now seems rejuvenated, needs to be part of the Owls’ starting lineup on a regular basis.
“He’s got to be playing,” Sheridan has been quoted as saying by The Star about Rhodes. “He’s been in and out of the team. He’s all about being in the box.
“I don’t think he’ll mind me saying, he’s not the quickest but if he gets chances in the 18-yard box there’s no one better in the division.
“I think he’s just got to get a run in the team and he’ll get more goals. He’s a bit of a Gary Lineker type fox in the box. Give him opportunities he’ll score goals and hopefully he’ll start doing it.”
