Wolverhampton Wanderers signed John Ruddy and Will Norris in the summer transfer window.
Norris has not featured in any Championship games for Wolves so far this season, but the 24-year-old has played in four EFL Cup ties.
Ruddy, who joined the Wanderers in the summer transfer window, has spoken highly of Norris, and has said that he is enjoyable to work with.
“I think he’s been brilliant and shown why the club were willing to pay money to bring him in,” Ruddy told Express & Star about Norris. “He’s still 24, he’s got a massive future ahead of him and he’s a great guy as well.
“He’s enjoyable to work with and I’m not surprised by his performances, like the rest of the lads who were given opportunities in the cup as well.”
Norris also joined Wolves in the summer transfer window, but it seems that the 24-year-old is a back-up goalkeeper at the moment.
Ruddy is a hugely experienced player, and one can understand why he is the first-choice custodian for Nuno’s team.
However, if Norris performs well when he is called up and trains well, then in the future he could become the first choice between the posts.
Wolves are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 35 points from 16 matches, two points clear of second-placed Sheffield United.
