Ruddy is leaving Norwich City after seven years and a move to Aston Villa could be on the cards.
John Ruddy, the former Norwich City goalkeeper, has expressed an interest in joining Aston Villa.
Ruddy was one of several high-earning players culled by Norwich this summer, after seven years of service at Carrow Road.

The Mirror reports the 30-year-old is attracting interest from West Ham United and the United States, however, the Villans may also be in need of a new ‘keeper if they cannot lure Sam Johnstone back to Villa Park from Manchester United.
Johnstone spent last season on loan in the Midlands, but is now wanted by Premier League sides West Bromwich Albion, Huddersfield Town and Leicester City, according to The Manchester Evening News.
And playing for Steve Bruce’s side is a prospect Ruddy would certainly entertain.
“Well, it’s a massive club with a superb infrastructure,” he told The Mirror when asked if he would be interested in a move to Villa.
“Everyone knows Villa should be in the Premier League and I would love to be a part of making that happen.”
Chelsea’s John Terry
The Mirror reports that former England captain John Terry is poised to sign for the Villans, and Ruddy, who was capped once by the Three Lions during his time at Norwich, could join him at Villa Park.
Would Ruddy be a good signing for Aston Villa?
