Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have been linked with Jack Rodwell of Sunderland in the January transfer window.

John Oster has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on the current situation of Sunderland midfielder and reported Celtic target Jack Rodwell.
According to Sky Sports, Sunderland have offered to cancel Rodwell’s contract after the 26-year-old midfielder asked to leave.
It has been reported that the Englishman earns £70,000 per week as salary at the Championship club, who are claimed to be willing to let him leave for free.
Sunderland signed Rodwell from Manchester City in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £10 million.

Scottish Premiership giants Celtic have been linked with a move for Rodwell in the January transfer window.
According to The Sunderland Echo, the Glasgow club have been monitoring the situation of the former Everton midfielder at Sunderland.
It has also been reported that Celtic were considering making a loan move for Rodwell in the summer of 2017.
