Hibernian midfielder John McGinn has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Jason Cummings.

Nottingham Forest, who feature in the Championship in England, have signed Cummings from Scottish club Hibernian on a three-year contract.

The 21-year-old striker was instrumental in guiding Hibs from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership at the end of the 2016-17 season.

As reported by BBC Sport, Cummings scored 23 goals in 39 appearances for Hibernian during the 2016-17 campaign.

Forest narrowly avoided relegation from the Championship to League One at the end of the 2016-17 season.

The Reds will be aiming to push for the playoffs next season, and with Mark Warburton as manager, the City Ground faithful should be confident of a successful campaign.

The Championship in England is a tougher and more intense domestic league than the Scottish Championship and the Scottish Premiership, but Cummings could prove to be a successful signing for Forest.
