Hibernian midfielder John McGinn is reportedly wanted by Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the summer transfer window.

McGinn is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership and has often been compared to Celtic ace Brown.
Brown is arguably the best midfielder in Scotland at the moment and is a very combative player, and there are similarities between him and the Hibernian ace.
The 23-year-old Scotland international midfielder has admitted that getting compared to Brown bugs him, but he has also stated that he is good friends with the 32-year-old former Hibernian star.

McGinn told The Scottish Sun regarding comparison with Brown: “It’s something that bugs me a wee bit, getting compared to him. I feel as if we’re different. We’re good pals off the park and we’re different players.
“He has something different to me and I have something different to him. I just try to focus on my own game.”

Future Celtic star?
Given McGinn’s obvious quality and talent, one should not be surprised if the Hibernian star does end up at Celtic in the future.
Interestingly, the 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Glasgow giants in the summer transfer window.
Back in June 2017, The Express reported that Celtic were planning to sign McGinn from Hibernian in the summer of 2017.
According to a report in ChronicleLive in February 2018, the performances of the Scotland international midfielder this season have caught the eye of the Hoops.
