John McGinn has spoken highly of his Aston Villa teammate Jack Grealish.

McGinn – who joined Villa from Hibernian in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Times to be worth £2.75 million plus add-ons – has hailed Grealish – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – for the Villans’ recent run of form.
McGinn told The Birmingham Mail: “Jack is the best player in the league and there is no doubt he has inspired the run we are on. In his absence the confidence he has given the rest of the lads has carried on.”
Stats
Grealish has made 28 appearances in the Championship for Villa so far this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the 23-year-old has made 22 starts and eight substitute appearances in the Championship for the Villans, scoring three goals and providing six assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Villa are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 69 points from 42 matches, and Dean Smith’s side look set to clinch a spot in the playoffs.
The Villans will be confident of winning promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.
