Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham, who is currently on-loan at Aston Villa, was reportedly attracting interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month.

Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn has revealed that Tammy Abraham ‘laughed’ while watching Sky Sports News amid the rumours that he could have been heading to Wolves.
Sky Sports reported earlier this month that the 21-year-old Chelsea loanee turned down the opportunity to move to the Premier League side amid talk that he could be swapping Villa Park for Molineux.
Abraham joined Villa in August when Steve Bruce was the manager and he signed a season-long loan deal at the Championship outfit.
It now seems that he will see out the remainder of his time in B6 as McGinn revealed the amazing way his teammate reacted while those rumours were swirling around.
“Tammy is a pretty chilled guy and just got on with his business as normal,” McGinn told the Express & Star. “He watched Sky Sports News a few times and just laughed. I think he knew, in himself, he wanted to be here.
“He is enjoying his football and that is great for us. I tried to get it out of him (what was happening) but he wouldn’t tell me. I was trying to do my Jim White but it didn’t work!”

Abraham has been in red hot form this season and he proved his worth once again when he netted a brace during Villa’s 2-1 win over bottom-of-the-table Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Those strikes mean that the Chelsea man has taken his goal tally to 19 strikes for the season as he will be looking to pass the 20 goal mark and potentially score 30+ goals.
Despite his goalscoring prowess, Villa are still sitting outside of the playoff places and are currently four points behind sixth-placed Derby County, who have a game in hand on their rivals.
Dean Smith’s side travel to Reading for their next league fixture – both teams recorded a 1-1 draw during the reverse fixture in September.
