Celtic defender Kieran Tierney and Hibernian midfielder John McGinn played for Scotland against the Netherlands on Thursday.

Scotland and the Netherlands faced each other at the Pittodrie Stadium in a friendly international match.
Memphis Depay’s goal in the 40th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides, as the Dutch won 1-0.

Celtic defender Tierney featured for Scotland in the match, as he started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes as a centre-back.
Hibernian midfielder McGinn also played in the game, and the 23-year-old former St. Mirren star has spoken highly of Tierney, who is a left-back by trade.

“Kieran Tierney led by example,” McGinn told BBC Sport (22:06). “He is only 20 but he was beckoning us forward.”
McGinn is a very promising midfielder and has been linked with a move to Celtic.
According to Betvictor.com, the 23-year-old is 8/1 to sign the Glasgow giants in the January transfer window.
Former Hibernian manager Alan Stubbs told The Daily Record in October that McGinn would be a good replacement for Scottish midfielder Scott Brown at Celtic.
