Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn has impressed since signing for the claret and blues.

Rodgers wanted to bring McGinn to Celtic throughout the summer, but it was Villa who swooped for the midfielder.
The Scottish international has gone on to impress at Villa Park, but it seems that Rodgers may get his wish to manage McGinn anyway.
Rodgers has been heavily linked with the vacant managerial post at Villa.
And McGinn said, on the potential to work with Rodgers: “That’s football, isn’t it? It’s ironic. We never know what’s going to happen.
“I can’t affect that (what will happen). I think Brendan came out the other day and said he’s happy at Celtic, he’s got a job to do. So it would be unfair for me to comment on that and fuel the rumours.

“What will be will be.
“If it is Brendan Rodgers or if it is somebody else, I’ll soon see.”
Villa are looking for a replacement for Steve Bruce, after what has been a disappointing start to the campaign.
The claret and blues went into the season as one of the promotion favourites, but currently sit in 15th place in the Championship table.
While it is far too early to write off Villa’s promotion chances, whoever takes over will need to spark a big turnaround.
Rodgers, himself, has suggested that he does not want to leave Celtic, but he is thought to be on Villa’s wishlist.
