The Hoops are top of the league and into the Champions League group stages.
Celtic first-team coach John Kennedy has told the club’s official website that their start to the season has ticked all the boxes.
The Hoops have had a strong start to the campaign under new manager Brendan Rodgers.
They currently sit top of the Scottish Premiership after winning all three of their games, in which they have scored ten goals and conceded four.
They have also progressed in the League Cup, with a comprehensive 5-0 win over Motherwell in the second round.
Most importantly they have also progressed to the group stages of the Champions League after missing out for the last two years.
And Kennedy says as far as they are concerned, they could not have done any better.
“The position we’re in and the season we’ve had so far has seen us tick all the boxes,” he told the club’s official website.
“We’ve qualified for the Champions League, we’re in the next stage of the League Cup and have won all our matches in the league so we can do no more.”
Celtic will now be hoping to continue their fine form with a win over rivals Rangers this weekend.
The two sides clash at Celtic Park in the first Old Firm derby of the season, with both eyeing up a title challenge in this campaign.
Celtic’s fine start to the season makes them slight favourites in some people’s eyes and they will likely be keen to ensure they secure a win to turn it into an even better start.
