The Hoops midfielder impressed for the Parkhead side against Nomme Kalju.

Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie is in such form that he is surely being sought after by some of the Premier League’s top clubs, according to ex-Hoops defender John Hughes (BBC Sport).
The 24-year-old attacker scored twice and assisted another in Wednesday’s Champions League 5-0 win over Estonian side Nomme Kalju at Parkhead, putting the Bhoys in pole position for the third qualifying round.
Christie made his first competitive game since suffering a facial injury in April in the 3-1 win at FK Sarajevo and hit the ground running in that match, and following the performance against Kalju, he certainly looks as if he’s going from strength to strength.
“I felt Ryan Christie was man of the match, as he was last week,” Hughes – also Christie’s former manager at Inverness Caledonian Thistle – told Sportsound, as quoted by BBC Sport. “He’s making up for lost time after his horrendous injury.

“He won Brendan Rodgers over last year and he has certainly won Neil Lennon over. He’s one of the first names on the team-sheet now. He must be on the radar of big English Premier League clubs with these kind of displays.”
One Celtic player who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League is Kieran Tierney, with the latest update on that front suggesting that Arsenal are continuing their pursuit of the talented left-back, according to Goal.com.
However, there is no denying that Christie has also been a standout player for the Hoops in recent times, and although his horror injury in last season’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen saw him sidelined, he now looks back to his best and en route to becoming even better.
