Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a move to Arsenal recently.

John Hartson commentates during the Barclays Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City at White Hart Lane on May 16, 2015 in London, England.

John Hartson has told Yahoo Sports that whenever he speaks to anyone at Celtic about Brendan Rodgers’ future, they all insist that the Northern Irish boss has happy at Parkhead.

Rodgers has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this week, after it was announced that Arsene Wenger’ will depart at the end of the season.

However, the 45-year-old has come out publicly to suggest that he is very happy at Celtic.

And although Hartson actually believes that a move to the Premier League would appeal to Rodgers, the former Bhoys striker has been told that the Celtic boss is very happy where he is.

“My guess is we will probably see Brendan staying at Celtic for one more year, but what will happens depends on the kind of offers that come his way,” Hartson said.

“He is very happy at Celtic, everyone you speak to at the club say how much he enjoys it in Glasgow and his family’s seem settled up there, which is important. So although I think there might be an temptation to go to a big English club and have another go in the Premier League, I don’t think it is something that Rodgers is angling for.”

Rodgers has done a very impressive job at Celtic, since taking charge at the start of last season.

The Bhoys boss is on course to win the domestic treble for the second successive campaign, with Celtic dominating Scottish football again this year.
