John Hartson says that he wanted Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final against Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic instead of Motherwell.

Former Celtic striker John Hartson has made fun of Pedro Caixinha’s Rangers on social networking site Twitter.
Hartson has stated that he wanted Rangers to progress to the final of the Scottish League Cup instead of Motherwell.
The Gers went down 2-0 to Scottish Premiership rivals Motherwell at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup on Sunday afternoon.

After a goalless first half, Louis Moult put Stephen Robinson’s side in the lead in the 52nd minute and doubled the advantage on 74 minutes.
In the other semi-final tie which was played on Saturday, Celtic won 4-2 against Hibernian, with Mikael Lustig and Moussa Dembele scoring twice each for Brendan Rodgers’s side.
This means that this season’s Scottish League Cup final will be between Celtic and Motherwell.

Former Celtic striker Hartson has stated on Twitter that he wanted Rangers to progress to the final, as it would have been a much easier game.
