Celtic’s interim boss Neil Lennon has received some criticism of late.

Pundit John Hartson has told BBC Sport that he thinks the criticism from Celtic fans towards Neil Lennon isn’t fair.
Lennon returned as Celtic’s interim manager back in February, just weeks after leaving Hibernian as the Bhoys looked to replace Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers left Celtic abruptly to join Leicester City, and Lennon stepped in to guide Celtic until the end of the season, with silverware to be won.
Lennon is set to win the Scottish Premiership title, and has a Scottish Cup final date with Hearts to come next month, with Celtic closing in on a third straight domestic treble.
In that regard, Lennon has kept Celtic moving along towards glory. However, some fans have been a little disappointed with the quality of football under Lennon.
This was a regular criticism from his first spell in charge, and it’s coming up again. Celtic have already drawn more games 0-0 this season under Lennon than they had in the rest of the campaign under Rodgers.

In eight league games with Lennon in charge, Celtic have scored just eight goals. They’d scored four in Rodgers’ last game alone, and some have been critical of Lennon’s style.
Now, pundit and ex-Bhoys striker Hartson has sent a message to the ‘moaning’ Celtic fans, suggesting that Lennon has done everything asked of him so far, whilst claiming that the football wasn’t brilliant under Rodgers either this season.
“He’s done everything asked of him,” said Hartson. “Some may be moaning about the quality of the games at the minute, they’ve drawn a couple, but the football hasn’t been brilliant all season, even under the previous manager but we’re on the cusp of a historical treble treble,” he added.
