John Hartson has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Scott Brown’s decision to sign a new contract with Celtic.

As announced on Celtic’s official website on January transfer deadline day, Brown has signed a new two-year contract extension with the Glasgow giants.

This means that the former Scotland international midfielder will stay at Celtic until 2021.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from Celtic, with The Glasgow Evening Times reporting of Western Melbourne’s interest in signing him in the summer of 2019.

However, with Brown deciding to put pen to paper on a new contract with the Hoops, it does appear that he is not planning on leaving the Scottish Premiership outfit anytime soon.

Former Celtic striker Hartson has taken to Twitter to express his delight at Brown signing a new contract.
