John Hartson has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s failure to win against Suduva on Thursday evening.
Celtic played out a 1-1 draw with Suduva away from home in Lithuania in the first leg of their Europa League playoff tie.
Olivier Ntcham put the Glasgow giants in the lead after just three minutes, but Ovidijus Verbickas restored parity for the home team only 10 minutes later.
Former Celtic striker Hartson was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.
The former Wales international has criticised the Glasgow giants for their defensive display against Suduva.
Meanwhile, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has praised the performance of 19-year-old striker Michael Johnston on the club’s official Twitter page.
The Scotland Under-21 international started the match and played for 66 minutes, and his performance impressed Celtic boss Rodgers.
Over the course of the 90 minutes on Thursday evening, visitors Celtic had 50% of the possession, took one shot which was on target and resulted in the goal, and failed to earn a single corner, according to BBC Sport.
