John Hartson is amazed that Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor has not received punishment after the weekend.

John Hartson labelled the Scottish Football Association “incompetent” after the Daily Record reported that Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor would not be punished for seemingly kicking out at Celtic’s Kristoffer Ajer in the Old Firm clash.
McGregor, 36, was caught lashing out at defender Ajer on the floor, an incident that was missed by the referee during the match.
But the Rangers shot-stopper is set to escape any kind of ban after a panel reviewed the incident, as there was no unanimous decision made.
Ex-Celtic striker Hartson was left amazed on social media that McGregor will get away with the incident without a subsequent ban.
“The SFA seriously need to look at this decision Ajer is blatantly kicked off the ball.. it’s such an incompetent way to deal with a decision which is missed by match officials on the day. The offence is as clear as day. Inexcusable from the SFA,” Hartson wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Rangers’ discipline has already been an issue in the early stages of Steven Gerrard’s reign and he suffered his first defeat while in charge at the weekend.
Olivier Ntcham’s goal was enough for Celtic to earn three points in a 1-0 win at Parkhead and they had plenty of other chances on McGregor’s goal.
Rangers will host Dundee at Ibrox after the international break in their next game and it looks like their first-choice goalkeeper will be available for selection.
