Celtic were beaten 2-1 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League last night.

Celtic were beaten 2-1 by the German champions yesterday, but Brendan Rodgers’ side’s performance was still highly credible.
Celtic gave Bayern a real scare during the contest, with their pressing game catching the eye.

Most of the Bhoys’ players excelled during the encounter, but Forrest’s display really caught the eye.
The Scottish international showed all his ability, as he terrorised Bayern’s defence at times.
And Hartson said: “Forrest for me was outstanding. He was unplayable at times. He was a real threat all night. Everything he did was brilliant.”

Forrest nearly set up an opener for Celtic when he teed up Stuart Armstrong, but the midfielder fluffed his lines when well placed.
Bayern then went on to score through Kingsley Coman, after a horrendous error in the Celtic defence.
The Bhoys did find a way back into the match when Callum McGregor scored, but Javi Martinez sealed the three points for Jupp Heynckes with a well directed header late on.
