The Scottish Sun has credited Celtic, Rangers and Leeds United with interest in the Scotland international, with Hibs claimed to want £5m to part company with the former St. Mirren star.
Former Celtic striker Hartson has predicted Brendan Rodgers’s side to win the race for McGinn.

Hartson wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times: “McGinn is 23, he is not a kid anymore. He has a load of football under his belt having earned his stripes at St Mirren and Hibs and I think that even if there were other clubs calling from south of the border that the lure of playing for Celtic for him would be huge.
“He is from a big Celtic family and I do think that makes a difference when it comes to making a decision.
“There is definitely an emotional pull and if it comes to it that there is a choice for him to make, my money would be that Celtic would win it.”

Good signing for Celtic?
McGinn is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership and was in brilliant form for Hibernian last season.
The 23-year-old scored six goals and provided six assists in 35 Scottish Premiership appearances for Hibs during the 2017-18 campaign, according to Transfermarkt.com.
The midfielder would be a very good signing for Celtic, not just for next season, but for the long term as well.
