Oliver Burke joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on loan from West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window.

Burke joined Celtic on loan from West Brom in the Championship in England in the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old is a winger by trade, but the former Nottingham Forest star has been deployed as a striker on occasions by Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old has made four starts and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for the Hoops so far this season, scoring three goals in the process.
Former Celtic striker Hartson has praised Burke, and has been impressed with how the Scotland international winger has done for the Hoops so far.
Hartson told The Sunday Post: “I really like the look of Oliver Burke. He is direct and powerful. He is an absolute handful.”

Quality footballer
Burke struggled to make an impact at RB Leipzig and at West Brom, but the winger is revitalised at Celtic and seems to be getting back to his best.
Celtic boss Rodgers is a very good manager who has a strong record working with young players, and it is clear that he is getting the best out of Burke at the moment.
