Graeme Murty has performed admirably in his role as Glasgow Rangers manager at Ibrox this season.

Celtic legend John Hartson spoke exclusively to the Daily Record, and did not hold back in his criticism of the Rangers players, suggesting that they have not respected Graeme Murty during his time in charge at Ibrox.
The Gers slipped down to third in the Scottish Premiership table following their 5-0 hammering at the hands of the Hoops on Sunday, and the manner of their defeat would have been particularly difficult for Murty and his staff to accept.

It was not the first time that Rangers have been humiliated by their bitter rivals this season, and there seems to be an underlying issue currently present at the club with regards to the players’ mentality during big games.
Hartson, who scored 109 goals for Celtic, slammed the Gers flops for their display against his former club, and insinuated that the players have not given Murty the respect that he deserves, as quoted by the Daily Record:

“That man has given his heart and soul. He has had it difficult. I don’t think the players have respected them too much. I don’t know what goes on in that dressing room, but there are currently two players away on suspensions.”
Rangers have three games left this season, and with a trip to Aberdeen still to come, a second place finish remains in their hands.
The Gers players quite simply have to respond after their Parkhead humiliation, and a return of nine points from their final three games would be the ideal way to banish the memories of Sunday’s horror show.
