West Ham United have struggled to find a goalscorer so far this season.
John Hartson has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on 6th December, that West Ham United need to find a goalscorer quickly.
West Ham have failed to find a potent forward to lead the line this season, with both Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll struggling with injury.
The Hammers brought in both Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri last summer, but the pair have both failed to make an impact at the London Stadium.

Slaven Bilic has actually turned to Ashley Fletcher in recent matches, but the youngster remains inexperienced at the top level.
And Hartson believes that finding a striker who can put the ball in the back of the net will be vital for West Ham in January.
“They need to find a goalscorer,” the former Hammers striker said. “Andy Carroll coming back is a big positive.”

West Ham are currently in 17th place in the Premier League table, after a terrible start to the new campaign.
Bilic is ranked as the second most likely top flight manager to lose his job by the bookies, as things stand, and Hartson understands why the Croatian is under pressure.
“It’s a result based business and nobody will know that more than Bilic,” he added. “The team are not playing with any plan, and it’s not exciting last season. You have got to win in football, otherwise you’re under pressure.”
West Ham’s next match comes against Liverpool at Anfield at the weekend, in what looks set to be another tough test for Bilic’s side.
