Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.

John Hartson has launched a strong defence of Celtic midfielder Scott Brown on social networking site Twitter.
Brown played well for Celtic against Aberdeen away from home in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend, but it was his reaction to a challenge that went viral on the internet.
The former Scotland international was the subject of a knee-high challenge from Aberdeen’s Sam Cosgrove, but the 32-year-old jumped to his feet and roared at the crowd.
Former Celtic striker Hartson has defended Brown on Twitter when a follower criticised the former Hibernian star.

Tough player
Brown is one of the best players in Scotland and is a key figure in the current Celtic team.
The former Hibernian star is in his early 30s, and there are still a few good years left in the former Scotland international midfielder.
Celtic are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and look set to win the league title yet again this season.
