The two struggled for their best form last season, leading to criticism from the Gunners faithful.

Speaking to talkSPORT, John Hartson has criticised Arsenal for misusing Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud last season.
The striker position has been something of a problem for the Gunners for a number of years, with many believing they are in need of a top class centre forward to compete.
Last season saw them relying on Giroud and Walcott with both suffering indifferent campaigns.

Giroud was in fine form in the first half of the campaign but struggled after the turn of the year, going on the longest goal drought of his career to date.
Walcott meanwhile was given the chance to shine in the central role he has long craved but failed to do so, missing out on a place at Euro 2016 with England as a result.

Hartson has laid the blame at Arsenal’s door though, saying they misused both players.
“I thought they used Giroud too much without having a different option last season,” he told talkSPORT.
“They also messed up with Walcott in terms of whether he is a winger or a striker. Now he’s saying he wants to play back on the wing.”
It now remains to be seen if either player can enjoy a better year this season and turn opinion back in their favour.
The pressure is very much upon them, with the consensus at this moment in time being that neither is good enough if the Gunners wish to compete.
