John Hartson raves about Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.

The former Celtic striker has outlined the similarity between Dembele and Drogba, who is one of the greatest players to have ever featured in the Premier League and is now at Phoenix Rising FC in the USA.
Hartson wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times: “As for Dembele, he is just tremendous. He’s a great player. He’s strong, powerful and quick, and looks to have come back this summer in fabulous physical condition.
“He is a threat in behind too. He reminds me of a young Didier Drogba. He bullies centre-halves, and he’s certainly quicker than I ever was.”
Bold comparison
It is quite a bold comparison from Hartson, especially as Drogba is one of the greatest strikers to have ever played the game.
The former Ivory Coast international striker was a massive success during his time at Chelsea, winning the Premier League title four times and the Champions League once among other major honours.
Dembele is one of the best young strikers in Europe, and there is no doubt that he has a bright future ahead.
The Frenchman, though, has to do it on a consistent basis and in a bigger league, such as the Premier League, to be considered as one of the best in the coming years.
Interesting, Dembele has been linked with a move to Premier League giants Chelsea in the past.
According to a report in The Sun in June 2017, Chelsea were among a number of clubs interested in the Celtic striker.

Leigh Griffiths situation
Hartson has also said that Dembele’s Celtic teammate and Scotland international Leigh Griffiths is unfortunate due to competition for places from the 21-year-old and his French compatriot Odsonne Edouard.
“I have to mention Leigh Griffiths as well, who is unfortunate in that he is now competing with a £9million signing and a player the club rates at £25-£30million for a starting slot,” Hartson wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times. “You can’t pay a fee like that, or rate a player in such a bracket, and then not play them.”
