The former Hammer has been impressed with West Ham United’s last-minute business.
Former West Ham United forward John Hartson has taken to Twitter to comment on the Hammers’ deadline day signings.
West Ham have been extremely busy as the clock ticked down, signing Victor Moses and Alex Song on loan and bringing in Michail Antonio and Nikica Jelavic on permanent transfers.
They are moves sure to excite the majority of Hammers fans and Hartson’s comments on social network Kicca.com echoed those sentiments.
“West Ham brought in some good additions to their squad,” Hartson wrote. “Song is real quality, Moses is a good player and Jelavic I also think will be excellent for the Hammers.”
West Ham had impressed in the summer transfer window even before their last-minute activity, with Angelo Ogbonna, Dimitri Payet and Martin Samuelsen all looking intelligent investments.
But now the club are on another level in terms of new recruits and after their emphatic victory against Liverpool last weekend the future looks very bright for a side set to blossom under manager Slaven Bilic.
There is certainly still some work to be done, and the trick is to embed all the new players into an effective unit, but that is a challenge Bilic will surely relish in the months ahead.
