Christian Eriksen is staying at Tottenham Hotspur until January at least.

John Hartson predicted on Sky Sports Premier League (10:10pm, September 4, 2019) that Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

The former Arsenal striker has also predicted Christian Eriksen to settle down at Tottenham and turn on the style for the North London outfit.

According to The London Evening Standard, Eriksen wanted a new challenge this summer, but no move materialised and he is still at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Hartson said on Sky Sports Premier League (10:10pm, September 4, 2019): “I think Spurs will be there or thereabouts, I think top four.

“I think [Christian] Eriksen will now settle down he’ll play every game because he’s a Tottenham player so nobody can come buy him until January anyway.

“Ndombele looks okay, he’s only going to get better. Harry Winks, Pochettino loves Winks. They have got a solid back four.”

Back to his best

Eriksen has made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham this season, according to WhoScored.

The Denmark international attacking midfielder could be disappointed that he could not secure a move away from Spurs in the summer transfer window, but he is a professional and will not down his tools.

Eriksen is one of the best and most creative players in Europe, and Spurs will need him to be at his best if they are to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
