Harry Winks is a rising star at Tottenham Hotspur and played well against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks featured on BBC News at Ten on Friday night (November 3, 2017), and former Arsenal and West Ham United striker John Hartson was not impressed.

An interview with Tottenham and England international midfielder Winks was shown during the 30-minute long news programme on the BBC.

The 21-year-old is a rising star at Tottenham, and his performance against defending European champions Real Madrid at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Champions League on Wednesday evening has got everyone talking.

Former Arsenal striker Hartson was not impressed that someone as young as Winks and who has yet to achieve anything concrete so far in his career was on BBC’s flagship evening news programme.

Tottenham produced one of their best performances of the season against Madrid and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.

Spurs legend Glenn Hoddle was following the match, and he mentioned two players who were outstanding against the defending European and Spanish champions – Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen

“I have got to say as well, that Vertonghen and Eriksen were outstanding, well the whole back-five were outstanding for Tottenham,” said Hoddle on BT Sport 2 on Wednesday evening (9:52pm, November 1, 2017) during the post-match coverage of the Champions League game between Tottenham and Madrid.
