Scott Brown scored for Neil Lennon’s Celtic against Hibernian at the weekend.

John Hartson has suggested on Twitter – perhaps jokingly – that Celtic midfielder Scott Brown should be deployed upfront.
The former Celtic striker made the suggestion following the Hoops’ win against Hibernian away from home at Easter Road in the Scottish Cup quarter-final tie this past Saturday afternoon.
Brown scored the second goal for Neil Lennon’s side in the 75th minute, as the Glasgow giants won the tie 2-0.
The former Scotland international has been scoring goals recently, with the former Hibernian star having found the net against Kilmarnock and St. Johnstone last month.

Successful season
Brendan Rodgers’s exit as the Celtic manager last week must have left the fans stunned, but the team are doing well in his absence.
Celtic are as many as eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table and have also progressed to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
With the Glasgow giants having already clinched the Scottish League Cup, the Hoops have a very good chance of claiming the domestic treble this season.
Brendan Rodgers’s exit
Meanwhile, Celtic legend David Provan has given his take on Brendan Rodgers’s decision to leave the managerial role at Hoops and move to Leicester City in the Premier League.
Provan wrote in The Scottish Sun: “Had Rodgers seen out the season he could have put the Celtic board up against the wall on his way out.
“He could have exposed the lack of boardroom ambition that encouraged him to quit. Instead, his defection has seen Lawwell climb out the Clyde with a salmon in his pocket.
“On top of coining in £6million in compensation, Lawwell gets Rodgers’ salary off the wage bill while getting Neil Lennon in without paying a release fee.”
